Dear Friends,
As you saw on the front page of my site, my story "Together" is in the newly released non-fiction book Scripture to Live By, edited by Arron Chambers. This is a wonderful book filled with inspirational and entertaining stories, and I'm honored to be a part of it.
Please check out my Recommended Reading page for brand new novels by three of my favorite writers, Maureen Lang, Tamera Alexander, and Elizabeth White.
Wishing all of you a happy spring (thankfully its just around the corner!)
Kathleen
February, 2007
Dear Friends,
You may have noticed some changes to my website--especially a very overdue update. This past year has been filled with excitement and change. In 2005 I went back to teaching, and I'm currently in my second year as a teacher of the Visually Impaired in my local school district. As my job responsibilities increased, my time for writing has decreased. As of now I don't have any new books on the publishing horizon, although I do write when I can. I am a writer and I can't help but write, just at a slower pace right now.
A big thank you to all the readers of Never Broken who took the time to write me and ask about the sequel. I am still working on the book. At the moment, the fate of Never Forsaken lies with the publisher. As soon as I know anything new I will post a message on my website.
I've also had to discontinue some features of my website, including the writing tips and my blog. I haven't been able to update the tips as much as I want to, but I hope to bring back the feature at a later date. As for my blog, I keep getting porn spam, so I'm getting rid of it. I think blogs are a great idea, but since I've never been able to keep a diary or a journal for more than a few days, they're really not for me. Maybe I'll start one up again in the future, who knows.
I have added some new links to my links page. If you've ever wondered how people can read Braille, you should check them out.
I wish you all a warm and safe winter. Hopefully spring is just around the corner!
Until next time,
Kathleen
